Why sports books are a must read for every sports fan

A recent study showed that the average sports fan would rather watch an event than read about it. The reasons are obvious but not exactly justifiable. Indeed, there is a thrill that comes with going to stadiums or watching games with friends via television. However, sports books can easily bring that much fun and we briefly go through reasons why every sports fan should have at least one cherished sports book in his/her arsenal.

It brings a certain connection
Ideally, reading a sports book will come with more concentration than watching a documentary for instance. With that in mind, there is more attention to detail for the average sports lover because he/she must have been fully immersed all the time. Also, the thrill of completing a book from start to finish is something to be proud of for a sports fan.

Books leave you to imagine the scenario and this is no different with sports books. That mental exercise of coming up with a picture/expression of that sports book helps the mind expand further on that sport/team itself.
